Okay first the day before after touring the Nagoya Castle I went to the Noritake no Mori which is the showcase for Noritake bone china factory. Nice garden area, museum, shop (of course) and restaurant. Not my cup of tea (jasmine, oolong or otherwise). Bit too foo foo for me. Should have gone to the Toyota museum. They started as a textile merchant then turned machine makers just prior to the war (I think).
Anyway for something new. Here it is

Lunch...Miso Udon. Made with local miso, noodles marinated the served piping hot in this steel pot.
